Pedagogy, not picnic

Built on the experiential learning cycle

Every program moves through three deliberate phases — so the day produces learning outcomes, not just photographs.

Phase 1

Experience

Hands in the soil: sowing, composting, milking, water-harvesting — real farm work scaled to each grade band.

Hands transplanting seedlings
Phase 2

Reflect

Journaling and guided discussion at the outdoor classroom — facilitated with prompts co-written with your teachers.

Circle under the banyan, journals open
Phase 3

Apply

Every student leaves with a kitchen-garden kit and a 4-week classroom challenge — the farm follows them home.

Take-home seed kits lined up at the gate

✓ Dairy — milking, bilona ghee, where breakfast comes from
✓ Seed bank — native varieties, why diversity matters

Plan your expedition

Three steps to mud

1. Recce visit — bring your team and walk the trails.
2. Co-design — we adapt stations and worksheets to your unit plans.
3. Expedition day — we run it; your teachers get to teach, not manage.
